| Cyndi's List of Genealogy Sites | Over 41,600 links, categorized & cross-referenced, in over 100 categories. |
| Distant Cousin | An informative potpourri for the avid genealogist. Contains passenger lists, an online census, search engines plus too many items to list. Worth a trip. |
| Family Search | The long awaited Mormon Records site! I think that says it all. |
| Genealogy's Most Wanted | A great search engine for basic genealogy facts. A good starting place for filling in the holes. |
| GenForum | A genealogy forum that allows Jenks', and other surnames, to post messages and chat on-line with other enthusiasts. A powerful tool for finding and keeping in touch with like-minded researchers. |
| GenWeb.Net | A surname genealogy mailing sign-up list. HUGE list of names well worth investing a little time in. |
| Higginson Books | Over 10,000 books for purchase in an easy-to-search format. Specializing in genealogy and history. Hard to find copies at a click. |
| Kindred Konnections | Where it all started, as far as the internet goes, for me. An absolute MUST for anyone serious about researching their ancestry. You'll spend hours without even realizing it! Does require a small membership fee, but well worth it. |

| Joseph Jenks, Sr. - Patent Records | Joseph Jenks Sr., age 41, iron founder, of Colebrook, Buckinghamshire, widower with two sons, was persuaded in 1643 to emigrate from England to Lynn, Massachusetts, to operate an iron-smelting and foundry business. In that year, Robert Bridges had taken bog iron ore found in Saugus, Massachusetts, to London and persuaded a group of wealthy English gentlemen and merchants to join him in forming the Company of Undertakers for the Iron Works. |
